Excellent pizza with fast (35 min) delivery! I will certainly order from Rafaello's again.

I dont know what happened but my chicken breast sandwich is soooo small compared to the last review. The sandwich was alll bread. Last time comin here

Yay super duper awesome grilled chicken w itg swiss combo. The chicken sandwich was fresh and grilled with fresh lettuce and tomato. The fries were a huge amount and very tasy also

Good local place from some basic Italian fare. Recently had the spaghetti and meatballs and their eggplant parmigiana. The spaghetti and meatballs were very solid (sorry I didn't take pics because we were starving and got it to go anyway!). The meatballs are really big and look homemade and had good flavor. The marinara sauce is good with lots of chunks of tomatoes. My only complaint about the eggplant parm was that there were layers of some type of deli meat (maybe salami?) at the bottom of it, which was really odd to me because I'm used to it being a vegetarian-friendly dish. Had I known, I would've definitely asked to leave it out. I feel like it should've been mentioned on the phone when I called to order, especially since it's not written on the menu online. Also, my daughter got the baked rigatoni, assuming it was a meatless dish also, and it came with meat sauce. Not a dealbreaker, but maybe it should be specified on the menu on Yelp.

The meals come either a la carte or as dinners with salad and bread. If you just get a la carte, it's still tons of food for a very reasonable price! Surprising for being on the hill! Anyway, the staff are really friendly and when I realized that my daughter, who picked up the food didn't leave a tip, I called back and the guy seemed really surprised that I wanted to add a tip on my credit card. Very chill and nice to see these days, where it seems like everyone expects a tip all the time!

Hidden away in a small corner of the world, Rafaello's i say has the best pizza base around. The pizza was super tasty. I usually throw away the crust but not this one, i enjoyed the crust just by itself. The reviews about their other food items seems to be good and will definitely return to try the other items, if not, just for the pizza.

You may already know that there are limited restaurant options in Lunada Bay Plaza: it's this place, the sushi place and the French bakery slash cafe. So being the only game in town made me very concerned about receiving poor value here. Unfounded.

This appears to be a local place that has been beloved for decades. Sort of like The Appetizer for PVE. I tried a small Spicy Chicken sandwich. With a large iced tea and tax my total was almost exactly $10. So pretty reasonable in a location where you wouldn't expect that. The sandwich was warm and tasty. The most critical element of a proper Italian sandwich is the roll, and I'm pleased to report that these have the proper flaky outside chewy inside properties that aficionados crave. I expect they may be from Buscemi's Bakery, who supplies better sandwich shops. Really looking forward to trying the actual pizza next time...kicking myself for not getting a slice!
